My latest mix is now online. Venus Tunes Sessions is a monthly mix by Susanne Alt on Freak31, aired every first Sunday of the month at 19:00h. All of this in addition to my normal life as a musician. This album is also produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards and therefore sounds a bit like Chic, but then with the emphasis on her voice while the Chic records are focussing more on duo/choir singing.You might know this tune and it features a great vibraphone solo by David Friedman. He was a professor on the University of the Arts in Berlin, I had lessons with him. and later when I started to collect vinyl I found out about all the productions he played on. I knew already that he was amazing but I didn't know the huge amount of music the recorded.
