I had known of him as keyboarder and songwriter of P-Funk, later I learned that he had been part of the Ohio Players. He was always involved into interesting music and wrot a lot on social media. He just had gotten into the picture a bit more because of his collaboration with Dam Funk and Solange Knowles who dedicated an album title to him.
