My latest mix is now online. Venus Tunes Sessions is a monthly mix by Susanne Alt on Freak31, aired every first Sunday of the month at 19:00h. In addition, earlier Venus Tunes Sessions shows are repeated every Friday between 20:00-21:00 and Tuesday 21:00-22:00.Freak 31 has around 250 daily listeners (less during the week, more in the weekend) and a total of +10.000 listeners every month. All of this in addition to my normal life as a musician. Starting out as a saxophone player with her own jazz band and playing alongside dj's, in 2015 she started dj'ing additionally. Also watch out for her DJ live act Venus Tunes Live. Mavis Acquah: Vocalist, songwriter and dj, born in Amsterdam. For years now, she's been working with well-known dj's and producers, live and in the studio. Together with Gijs Huijs she has a writer's duo called The Rise and is also part of Venus Tunes Live.Susanne and Mavis met on stage years ago, performing together with Hardsoul Live, the extended live act of Roog and his brother Greg van Bueren.Then we have the remixes by two gentlemen who add their special flavours and spices:Johan SFeel good house music is the best way to describe the sound of Johan S.
