My latest mix is now online. Venus Tunes Sessions is a monthly mix by Susanne Alt on Freak31, aired every first Sunday of the month at 19:00h. All of this in addition to my normal life as a musician. This was the opening act for Fred Wesley at Paradiso, Amsterdam.Mr Wesley himself invited me to play a couple of tunes during his own set as well!It was a great honor to play with him once again! The first time I met Fred Wesley, reaches back to May 2008 when I asked Fred for signing his autobiography. It was in 2008, a James Brown tribute at Paradiso, with Tony Allen, Pee Wee Ellis, Peter Madsen but also Cheikh Lô and others. Never could I imagine then that I would later play and record with this big artist. The more of his music I get to know, the more he amazs me. His oevre seems neverending and is very diverse..
