Great atmosphere, diverse bands, lots of acoustic, straight ahead jazz and also more crossover jazzy and soulful acts. Thanks Leusden Jazz for having us!We were announced in a special way: Shirma Rouse, a famous Dutch soul singer, asked Femke and me on stage while we were waiting for her band to finish to jam with her band. Now, that's the spirit! Jamming is one of my favourite things to do. Expect the unexpected and make something out of it, enjoying the moment... Expect the unexpected is also when the percussion player starts dj'ing... Or when the saxophone player starts shaking and puts on a very concentrated face.. Or when walking into the audience to feel the vibe....And the people in the audience were so nice! Dancing for 75 minutes straight..Thank you Natascha Verheij and Peter Putters for capturing these lovely moments!
