My latest mix is now online. Venus Tunes Sessions is a monthly mix by Susanne Alt on Freak31, aired every first Sunday of the month at 19:00h. In addition, earlier Venus Tunes Sessions shows are repeated every Friday between 20:00-21:00 and Tuesday 21:00-22:00.Freak 31 has around 250 daily listeners (less during the week, more in the weekend) and a total of +10.000 listeners every month. This took place in Amsterdam's Skyybar, Floor17 and The Harbourclub Zuid... bit by bit, other places like Momo and W Amsterdam followed, leading to club bookings as a dj and festival bookings with Venus Tunes Live in the Netherlands and abroad. All of this in addition to my normal life as a musician. Streaming Dance, straight from Amsterdam. - In Aprill or May I got an email from German drummer Ralf Heinrich, he initially wanted to book me for a saxophone special in June but unfortunately I was already busy on that day. We succeeded in picking another day so 03-08-2017 was chosen. Vocalist Ingrid Arthur was already set to be the other featured artist on that night. Except from Ralf Heinrich on drums, I played with Walther Uhling on keys and Leo Henrichs on guitar. Together they form the band The Voyagers and play at Kurhaus Baden-Baden every 2 months.It was my first time in Baden-Baden, and also I didn't know any of the musicians yet. The concert was sold out! It was very exciting and nice to play for a completely new audience who also bought many cd's. Great meting these lovely performers! Also big thanks to the organisation for their hospitality.
