Gig pics: Soulville at Skyy Bar Amsterdam
Every month I am dj'ing at
Skyy Bar, just behind Surinameplein in Amsterdam. It's a cocktail bar but they also have delicious other drinks, yesterday I had some really nice Tempranillo red wine after my set!
Thursday became a jazz/soul/funk/disco night, no problem for me..
I played my favourite tracks from now and a while ago. Digging into the 90's sometimes, some good old neo-soul and acid jazz by people like Bilal, Guru, Angie Stone, Soulive etc...and reaching back into soulful jazz from the 60's, disco and soul from the 70's.. so much music to (re-)discover...
