right now we are arranging and tuning the last bits before the new album HOW TO KISS comes out.
In the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg the cd will be released on friday the 6th of april. HOW TO KISS will be available physically in stores (Plato, Velvet etc.) and via webshops (Bol.com, Mania etc). Digital release (via CD Baby: iTunes, Spotify etc) will be on the 20th of april.
8th of april is the moment supreme, the album release concert at Bimhuis, Amsterdam. It's on Easter Sunday and everyone will be able to party till late, we even have a special treat for you after the concert: DJ Maestro, the Netherlands' best known jazz dj, will spin funky jazzy records: STRICTLY VINYL!
And the concert itself will be special, too, not only will we play the new tunes and you will hear me on one tune SINGING. No no, that's not it, we have more for you. 2 DRUMMERS, the 'best of both worlds', a fantastic jazz drummer, Gijs Dijkhuizen, known from the virtuos Peter Beets Trio. AND Jamal Thomas, the great funk drummer who used to play for years with S.O.S. band and Maceo Parker. They will split the repertoire but also play together. I told you it would be special!
