Yesterday the Susanne Alt Quartet had a gig at Alto where we played all new material. It was very refreshing to play new band compositions!
Klaas van Donkersgoed, our previous drummer has left the band a few weeks ago because he wants to develop his own music. Fortunately I found a new drummer which is at least joining us for the next couple of gigs: Steve Altenberg from New York! He lived in Amsterdam before. Then he moved back to New York and now he again lives in Amsterdam because he’ll be teaching drums at the Conservatory of Groningen (NL).
